Audio-Visual Designer Job Description :

Design and engineer commercial AV systems to meet client specifications and industry standards
Prepare schematic and construction designs as well as shop drawings
Collaborate with the sales team to develop AV proposals and estimates
Create rigging details and integrate AV system layouts into architectural drawings
Stay up to date on emerging AV technology trends
Utilize CAD software to develop detailed 3D designs for voice / data, security, and AV systems
Perform QA / QC reviews and final documentation for project completion

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in AV design, Voice / Data, or Low Voltage technology for commercial projects

CTS and CTS-D certifications (preferred)

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

Experience designing AV projects exceeding $200,000- $400,000

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Strong collaboration skills with internal teams and clients

Must have an OSHA 10 / 30 construction safety certificate / card.
