This position provides life / work balance with a 40-hour, typical work week. Evening, weekend, and holiday hours may be required as project deadlines demand. On-campus work is required. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.

Purpose
The College of Liberal Arts Technology Integration Team is seeking an experienced Senior Audio Visual Systems Programmer to join our in-house, full-service, design-build integration team at The University of Texas at Austin. In this role, you will develop and implement control system programming code, create user-friendly graphical interfaces, and provide technical training and documentation for AV systems used across campus.
Beyond programming new systems, you will also play a critical role in supporting and troubleshooting existing AV installations, ensuring reliability and optimal performance for faculty, staff, and students. You will collaborate with a skilled team to maintain, refine, and upgrade AV systems as technology evolves, addressing issues and providing advanced technical support when needed.
This position is ideal for a highly motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative, problem-solving environment and is eager to contribute to innovative AV solutions in an educational setting. Located in Austin, TX, this is a unique opportunity to work locally with a dedicated team that designs, builds, maintains, and supports cutting-edge AV technology for UT Austin's various learning spaces.
