At HighFive Healthcare, we are dedicated to enhancing the patient experience by collaborating with Oral Surgeons and Endodontic practices to manage their administrative and operational support systems. From billing and human resources to scheduling, we ensure practices run smoothly, allowing Oral Surgeons and Endodontists to focus on what matters most—delivering exceptional patient care.
As a Quality Coding and Audit Coordinator, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the accuracy and efficiency of our coding and billing processes while fostering collaboration across teams. This role is critical to ensuring compliance, optimizing revenue cycles, and driving actionable improvements. Your expertise will not only influence daily operations but also create meaningful connections—from empowering Oral Surgeons and Endodontists through impactful education to coaching revenue cycle staff and engaging C-suite executives with strategic insights.
Requirements :
- Certification as a coder (e.g., CPC, COC) from a recognized professional organization such as AAPC or ADCA.
- Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, billing practices, and coding standards (CDT, CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).
- Proven experience in dental or medical coding, including chart reviews, audits, and documentation improvement.
- Strong understanding of compliance, payor contracts, and legal regulations related to coding and billing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with surgeons, C-suite executives, and revenue cycle teams.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver impactful educational programs and optimize billing processes.
- High attention to detail and proficiency in practice management software and billing systems.
- Track record of building collaborative relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
