M & J Auto Body Services Inc., our busy, family-owned collision repair facility in Van Nuys, CA is currently looking for a Painter Help / Auto Body Painters Assistant. We are looking to hire a experienced candidate who is an energetic, knowledgeable, self-motivated, and hard-working individual to join our team. Our hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm. Responsibilities :
- Prepare damaged / repaired areas for painting
- Accurately follow work orders while diagnosing and reporting any additional damage found
- Buffing
- Assist other departments when needed
- Maintain a clean workspace
- Adhere to all quality standards
- Polish dirt nibs
- Full panel polishing to match orange peel
- Block sanding
- Masking
- Primer application
