Job descriptionExperience : Minimum of 5 years of residential property appraisal experience. Licensing : Must be a licensed appraiser in Texas or another state. Technical Skills : Proficient with appraisal software, Excel, and other computer-based tools. Location : Position requires you to work in-office Monday–Friday, 9 : 00 AM–6 : 00 PM , at our downtown Austin office. Relocation is considered, but candidates already in Austin are strongly preferred. Salary Range : $100,000–$125,000, commensurate with experience. 401(k) : 4% company match to help you secure your future. Health Insurance : 100% covered by Park Place Finance. Key Job Functions :
- Property Valuation : Accurately determine "as-is" and "after-repair value (ARV)" using Park Place Finance's proprietary software.
- Market Research : Analyze market trends, comparable sales, and neighborhood data to produce precise valuations.
- Report Preparation : Deliver thorough and compliant appraisal reports in a timely manner.
- Collaboration : Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to provide key insights on valuations.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all appraisals meet applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Inspections : Conduct virtual or in-person property inspections as needed.
- Document Verification : Review contractor bids, project estimates, and other supporting documents for ARV evaluations.
- Software Utilization : Leverage our proprietary tools and platforms to streamline appraisals.
- Professional Development : Stay informed on industry changes, real estate trends, and regulatory updates.
- Team Support : Act as a resource for colleagues on appraisal matters and contribute to the company’s growth.
