We are currently seeking a Body Shop Estimator to join our team and play a crucial role in assessing and estimating repair cost for our clients.

Job Overview : As a Body Shop Estimator at Ray Laethem, you will be a responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates for vehicle repairs.

Your role is essential in ensuring that our clients receive a clear and transparent assessment of the work required to restore their vehicles, facilitating a smooth and positive customer experience.

you will work closely with our customers, insurance adjusters, and the repair team to create repair plans and estimates that adhere to industry standards and our company's Core Values.

Key Responsibilities :

1.

Customer Interaction : Interact with clients to understand the nature of vehicle damage and the customer's requirements.

Provide excellent customer service and build trust by explaining the repair process and answering any questions.

2.

Damage Assessment : Thoroughly inspect vehicles to identify and document all necessary repairs and parts needed.

3.

Estimate Preparation : Create detailed and itemized repair estimates, including labor and parts cost, in accordance with insurance company guidelines, industry standards, and company pricing.

4.

Insurance Liaison : Communicate with insurance adjusters to negotiate and confirm repair estimates and approval for repairs.

5.

Technical Knowledge : Stay updated on the latest vehicle technologies, repair methods, and industry standards to provide accurate assessments and estimates.

6.

Parts Procurement : Collaborate with the parts department to order necessary components and ensure their availability for repair jobs.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Body Shop Estimator is a plus
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair process, parts, and materials
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with insurance company procedures and guidelines
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proficient with computers and technologly
