Role
Ensure proper paint and related maintenance of the resort through fulfillment of guest requests and on-going preventative maintenance. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and company policies, practices, and procedures to ensure overall facility integrity.
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine to complex maintenance and repair work on all furniture, cabinetry, rooms, public areas and offices.
- Responsible for completion of jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management, maintain logbooks
- Understand the layout of the property, hotel rooms, and equipment.
- Effectively conduct ongoing paint and paint-related repairs of guest units and all public areas.
- Proactively check for and address any areas requiring maintenance or repair.
- Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods and advise Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the property.
- Maintain constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention, able to wear / use personal protective equipment (p.p.e.).
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
- Keep maintenance shop(s) clean and organized.
- Maintain inventory log of all supplies to ensure par levels of stock items are on hand at all times.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Working knowledge of a 2-way radio.
