TDCSU has been in existence since January 2016 and is seeking to hire experienced professionals and those interested in starting their career in medical malpractice insurance to support its continued growth. TDCSU is currently seeking a Claims Assistant with a desire to contribute to a collaborative, motivated and professionally ambitious work environment.
Responsibilities :
Working under the Claims Operations Supervisor, the Claims Assistant is expected to :
- Receive and review first notice of loss and enter preliminary notice data into claimssystem
- Identify and triage high severity matters which may require expedited review
- Draft and send form letters to external customers
- Assist with defense counsel onboarding for online billing system
- Assist adjusters with various tasks including but not limited to claim file maintenance
- Maintain and compile various monthly and quarterly reports
- Possesses strong working knowledge of TDCSU products and corresponding workflows
