The HVAC Mechanic performs installation, maintenance, and repair of all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across Holy Cross Health's main campus. This position reports to the Plant Supervisor and ensures clinical spaces maintain ASHRAE 170-compliant temperature, humidity, and pressure relationship parameters critical to patient safety and Joint Commission compliance
POSITION SUMMARY
The HVAC Mechanic performs installation, maintenance, and repair of all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across Holy Cross Health's main campus. This position reports to the Plant Supervisor and ensures clinical spaces maintain ASHRAE 170-compliant temperature, humidity, and pressure relationship parameters critical to patient safety and Joint Commission compliance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED required; completion of HVAC/R trade program preferred
Experience: 3+ years HVAC/R maintenance experience; healthcare or commercial preferred
Licenses/Certifications: EPA Universal (608) certification required; OSHA 10 preferred; Florida HVAC license preferred
Technology/Tools: Refrigerant recovery/recharge equipment, manifold gauges, BAS interface, Brightly Worxhub CMMS
