The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 10 to 12 Dealer Relationship Representatives. The Manager will ensure Sales Representatives are thoroughly acquainted with the program, which provides consumer loans through dealers. This position is integral to the development of representatives, helping them acquire and nurture new business relationships with auto and powersports dealers, while also ensuring a high level of customer service. This role offers a great opportunity to lead a team while driving the growth of our business and strengthening dealer relationships.
In the Role
- Manage and grow a designated sales territory with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop sales talent
- Lead, coach, and mentor a sales team to prospect for new dealer partners, present, and sell OneMain products and services
- Execute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly routines, including 1 : 1 meetings, team huddles, and department meetings
- Collaborate with management to analyze current and future sales prospects and market trends
- Provide regular sales activity and results reports to management
- Partner with internal teams to ensure efficient loan processing and keep key stakeholders informed on program activities
- Monitor competitive landscape, including pricing, products, and marketing strategies
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, recommending solutions, and preparing reports for management
- Exhibit professionalism, deep product knowledge, and exceptional customer service
Requirements
Preferred :
Location : Northern CA
Travel Requirements : Travel 50-75% of the time across the U.S. for key dealer visits, dealer ride-alongs, trade shows, and marketing events. Represent the company at industry events to enhance brand visibility and build new relationships.
Target base salary range is $100,000-$130,000, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive additional compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.
