Required Experience

Related Functional Experience : Minimum 1-3 years CAD operations experience (specific knowledge of current version of Auto CAD Architecture preferred)

Working knowledge of AutoCAD software

General knowledge of building codes

Knowledge of residential construction techniques and construction documents

Effective communication and organization skills

Software Skills Word, Excel, and ACAD at a minimum. BIM software is a plus

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

0-3 for entry level drafter & 3-5 for senior

production drafting - CD sets (full completion) - full CD creation

full construction document completion

construction experience

experience in AutoCAD ACA or Revit 1-3 years

Lot-SPEC - lot specific condition for a specific plan - lot specific plan based off master sets

architectural firm - custom home builder

attention to detail & organization

multitasking - shift focus

Primary Responsibilities

Provide Architectural Service drafting support daily to include but not be limited to :

Drafts redline markups.

Draft plan revisions.

Draft all notes on set of working drawings

Conduct CAD duties for Construction Drawings (CDs) utilizing company adopted software

Produce all work within the Pulte Drafting Standards and Productivity Tools.

Ensure quality control on all work completed.

Maintain current knowledge in the following areas :

Structural elements of home building

Construction installation means and methods

Self-monitor quality control on all work product
