Salary : $38.50-42.50 / hour DOE
Ellingson is hiring a Level II Field Mechanic to join their growing team. Ellingson is a stable, family values-based company that specializes in underground solutions throughout Southern Minnesota and the entire United States.
- This position is based out of our shop in HARWOOD, ND.

The Level II Field Mechanic will be responsible for the following :
Perform and train others on repairs and how to maintain all equipment and vehicles on job sites.
Ability to diagnose and operate equipment.
Maintain proper record keeping, open work orders for all repairs, and distribute workload as needed.
Requirements : Travel required.
Ability to work in shop environment.
Minimum of 5+ years related work experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to tear down and rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, differentials / gear boxes, and undercarriage components.
Ability to repair all types of construction equipment.
Valid Class A CDL required.
DOT certification required.
Must have own comprehensive set of tools and toolbox to complete mechanical repairs.
Must be capable of leading shop function on any given day including but not limited to personnel, parts ordering, diagnosing, quoting repairs etc.
Knowledge to assist with large variety of repairs and overall knowledge.
Must have familiarity with diagnostic tools and programs.
