AV Installation TechnicianBoston, MAWe are looking for an individual that can think on their feet and enjoys multi-tasking. RoomReady is seeking a confident decision maker to join our Field Installation team. The ideal candidate must be comfortable on various jobsites. Our Installation Technicians are responsible for the accurate and efficient installation of simple to complex AV Systems. The selected candidate must have the ability to use common interfaces to integrate, test, and certify AV systems. A background in video conferencing and audio system configuration required. We are looking for someone familiar with audio DSP set up, control system testing and troubleshooting, and the ability to test and configure common video interfaces. Installing simple to complex video teleconferencing systems Reading blueprints and drawings Multitasking Collaborating with certification teams Training clients on how to operate our solutions. Traveling up to 100% of the time, mainly around the Northeast. Skills and Qualifications : Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 1 year of audiovisual knowledge or construction experience and preferably CTS certified. Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and 50 pounds frequently. Ability to travel overnight, nationally up to 80% of the time. Candidates must be located in the Boston metro area.Key Responsibilities Field Installation of Video Conferencing systems- from classrooms to conference rooms and everything in between.
