The pace requires independent and confident thinking, self-motivation and determination Must be engaged in the process of technical development Be eligible, willing and able to work and travel globally when required Good organization and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities Good written and verbal communication skills Must have critical thinking and problem-solving ability Be flexible and adaptable to change and hours of work, to meet the needs of the customer Be a motivated team player 1-3 years’ experience in the AV / VC industry AVIXA CTS / CTS-I Certification is desired OSHA 10 / 30 / SST Certificate is highly desired
WHAT YOU’LL DO :
- Provide daily reporting to the Project Management team
- Experience installing a wide variety of technology into clients existing and new build project sites
- Knowledge of all cabling used in the AV industry and experience terminating associated connectors
- Knowledge of how to build AV racks to required AVIXA standards ensuring required airflow and layouts. Cable Management experience is a key requirement
- Planning layout and install of all 1st fix hardware to include bracketry, ceiling speaker hardware ensuring required general contract requirements are in place
- Knowledgeable of low voltage electrical concepts
- Possess basic carpentry and / or installation skills
- Proficient use and safety with power tools
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
