A growing and innovative engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Aviation Engineering Project Manager for their Nashville team!
Responsibilities :
- Business Development responsibilities :
- Develop new business
- Identify / market additional business opportunities for existing clients
- Client relations management
- Participate in proposal presentations
- Utilize CRM for tracking all business development activities
- Meet with new / existing clients to gather project information
- Develop proposal sections and scopes of work with technical staff
- Management responsibilities :
- Manage overall financial performance and day-to-day operations
- Implement growth / sales plans
- Develop strategic plan for department
- Manage / deliver quality aviation projects on-time and within budget
- Meet / exceed client expectations
- Conduct job hazard analysis
- Create job site specific health / safety plans
- Mentor / train junior staff
- Utilize staff to keep project on budget
- Technical responsibilities :
- Manage multiple projects at once
- Provide technical direction / development on scope of work
- Mitigate project risk
- Assign projects to designers / engineers
- Manage scope
- Identify / document changes in scope and acquire amendments for changes
- Perform airfield civil engineering design tasks
- Manage the bidding process
- Prepare complex studies, construction documents, drawings, maps, reports and supporting documentation
- Provide senior QC review and direction
- Visit work sites to monitor project progress
- Communicate regularly with clients
- Define scope of work and man-hour requirements
- Ensure tasks, project schedules, and budgets are met
- Create engineering reports, specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
- Lead project decisions regarding technical aspects, cost, and schedule
- Identify schedule / cost variances and recommend corrective action
Requirements :
Salary is commensurate with experience.
