Volt is immediately hiring multiple over 20 Mechanics in San Diego for immediate temp to hire employment. Join a company that offers job stability, upward mobility, a chance for lots of overtime and career advancement. It also offers a friendly, team orientated and safe work environment.

As a Mechanic you will :

Install and assembly of mechanical components on gas turbine engines
Layout, fabricate and perform assembly of engines and motors
Install hydraulic tubing
Route cables and wires and perform electrical terminations
Cable harnessing and wire harnessing
Follow blueprints and drawings
Utilize hand tools - specifically wrenches

We have full time and temp to hire opportunities.

We are hiring for 1st shift (6am - 2 : 30pm) and 2nd shift (3pm – 11 : 30pm). Most openings being available on 2nd shift. LOTS of overtime available.

The ideal candidate will have :

Anyone with hands on experience using hand tools, turning wrenches, etc.

Preferred - Experience working as a auto mechanic , diesel mechanic , aviation mechanic , engine mechanic , or HVAC is preferred but not required on engines

Shipyard or military experience ideal

Ability to read blueprints and drawings

Experience using hand tools - wrenches

Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Salary : 25.00-25.75 / hr

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
