Job descriptionPrevious experience as an Avionics Technician on F-16 aircraft, with a focus on flight line operations. F-16 experience is required Air Force- Level 7 F-16 Avionics Technician experience, or equivalent military experience. In-depth knowledge of avionics systems, including radar, communications, navigation, and electronic warfare systems. Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair avionics components and systems using specialized equipment. Experience working in a fast-paced, flight line environment, with the ability to perform under pressure. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other maintenance personnel. Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearances.
Responsibilities :
- Perform avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on F-16 aircraft systems including navigation, communications, radar, and electronic warfare systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on avionics systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify malfunctions in avionics components and systems.
- Perform system calibrations and adjustments as needed to maintain operational readiness.
- Work on the flight line to ensure timely and efficient turnarounds of F-16 aircraft.
- Collaborate with other maintenance teams to resolve complex avionics issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in compliance with FAA and military standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues under time-sensitive conditions to support flight operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and military regulations.
