Job Summary
The Director of Sales leads, manages, and holds accountable the sales team and executes sales and customer service strategies to maximize revenue, expand market penetration and ensure customer retention. The position demands a strategic thinker who balances big-picture planning with tactical execution, ensuring initiatives align with Company objectives. The position requires optimizing processes, analyzing market trends, managing sales pipelines, fostering a high-performance sales and service culture, and designing strategies to enhance client engagement and loyalty. The incumbent may serve on the executive team and will collaborate with leaders managing Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Technology and Finance. The selected candidate must be driven, result-oriented and set an example for living the company’s Core Values.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Recruit, Train, and Develop Sales & Service Talent : Lead the hiring process to attract top-tier sales and service talent ensuring that new team members align with the company's values and growth strategy.
- Lead and Manage Inside Sales, Outside Sales and Customer Service : Directly manage inside sales, outside sales and customer service teams, setting clear performance expectations and providing consistent guidance and support. Oversee day-to-day sales, ensuring efficient execution of sales processes and alignment with company objectives. Maintain a hands-on leadership approach, stepping in as needed to resolve challenges and drive results.
- Set Clear and Measurable Sales Goals : Establish specific, measurable, and time-bound sales goals for individuals and the team, ensuring alignment with the company's overall growth strategy.
