The Gurnee Park District is seeking three dedicated babysitters to work with children aged 0 to 8 years old in Chicago, IL, on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 9 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM. Under the direction of the Member Services Supervisor, the Childcare Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling staff, ordering supplies, and coordinating administrative functions related to the Childcare area at FitNation. As an active Childcare Staff Member, you will oversee and perform all duties necessary to provide a safe and engaging environment for the children, ensuring they are signed in with completed information forms and leading interactive activities. Additional responsibilities include maintaining participant records, ordering supplies, and supporting staff during meetings and training. Ideal candidates should have two years of fitness center childcare experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to relate effectively to young children and their parents. CPR, First Aid, and AED certification are required, with training provided if necessary.
