Career Institute has 45 years of experience as a postsecondary (and more recently as 9-12) distance education school providing quality, entry-level occupational and high school training.
We design and produce much of our content internally so we can prepare students for success as distance learners and graduates.
Our content is written in a step-by-step, engaging style to help our students achieve stated outcomes. We are seeking a Interactive/Gamified Learning Experience & Simulation Developer to build creative, engaging, and interactive learning support content for our students.
The goal of this position is to collaborate with our IT and instructional design groups to increase student engagement and academic achievement using creative technology.
Candidates should be adept at providing innovative solutions, understanding emerging technologies, and working with teams to provide the best student user experience.
Solutions should be seamless, intuitive, and impactful.
We are looking for someone to take us to the next level in gamification/simulations through their ability to both design and develop learning assets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create reward mechanisms and badging systems to increase student retention.
- Create the design variable reinforcement schedules.
- Collaboration Collaborate with Instructional Designers, SMEs, IT and internal stakeholders to develop, refine and deploy accurate/relevant multimedia content for student engagement and alignment with stated learning objectives/outcomes.
