Tractor Operator

Job Summary:
The Tractor Operator is responsible for safely operating tractors and related heavy equipment to support daily operations. This position performs a variety of tasks including material movement, site maintenance, and equipment inspections while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate tractors and attached equipment safely and efficiently

• Perform grading, hauling, mowing, loading, or other assigned tasks

• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections

• Maintain equipment cleanliness and basic preventive maintenance

• Follow all safety regulations and company policies

• Identify and report mechanical issues promptly

• Work with supervisors and team members to complete assigned projects

• Maintain accurate logs and operational records as required

• Ensure work areas are clean and hazard-free

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Prior experience operating tractors or heavy equipment required

• Valid driver's license (CDL may be required depending on role)

• Knowledge of safe equipment operation practices

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

• Strong attention to safety and detail

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods

• Frequent climbing in and out of equipment

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Work Environment:
