Material Handler
Job Summary
Employnet is seeking a dependable and hardworking Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations. The Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, organizing, moving, and delivering materials throughout the facility while maintaining accurate inventory and following all safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming materials and products.
  • Transport materials between warehouse, production, and shipping areas.
  • Pick and deliver materials to production lines based on work orders and production schedules.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
  • Load and unload trucks while preventing damage to products and materials.
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and product information against documentation.
  • Stage materials and components to ensure production areas remain properly stocked.
  • Package, label, and prepare products and materials for shipment.
  • Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and assist with inventory accuracy.
  • Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect materials and report discrepancies to management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company policies, safety requirements, and proper material-handling procedures.
  • Perform additional warehouse and production support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Work Environment
This position works in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment and requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and moving materials. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and able to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
