Carney, Sandoe & Associates, an education recruitment organization, is currently seeking Physics Teachers for the 2025-2026 school year at independent schools in the Connecticut area.

Responsibilities of the Physics Teacher :

• Be a dynamic educator with vision and patience
• Subscribe to the school's core values, mission and philosophy and seek passionately to promote them.
• Design lesson plans for 9-12 grade students.
• Evaluate each pupil’s progress in physics knowledge and skills.
• Vertically align coursework to provide students with a meaningful scope.
• Communicate with parents to interpret contemporary methods in teaching physics and with parents and school counselors to discuss the individual pupil’s progress.
• Embraces authentic assessment, innovative pedagogies, discussion-based learning and project based learning.
• Attend regular department, faculty, and other meetings.
• Promote an inclusive working and community environment.
