Job Summary :

The Tax Director will lead DuraServ's tax-related functions and work with internal cross-functional teams and external tax advisors on tax compliance, analysis, and research. The role will review, implement, and coordinate all tax-related matters and policies. The position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) :

• Manage the Company's tax function to ensure proper compliance and timely filings and all tax-related matters are reviewed, implemented, and coordinated appropriately across the Company
• Assist and coordinate with external tax advisors on all compliance, audits, filings, and payment requirements
• Serve as the primary contact for all sales / use and property tax matters at the Company
• Review and reconcile all tax-related journal entries and general ledger accounts for accuracy
• Manage and continually assess the Company's tax processes and ensure necessary improvements are implemented and coordinated effectively
• Implement and update processes as needed to reflect changes in applicable state and local sales / use / property tax laws and policies
• Research and advise on all sales / use and property tax matters impacting the Company
• Communicate with state and local tax authorities on tax-related correspondence
• Performs other duties as assigned
