Position Overview
We are seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and oversee clinical operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of nursing management experience in a skilled nursing setting, a strong record in regulatory compliance and survey success, and a demonstrated ability to develop and mentor nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all clinical operations within the skilled nursing facility.
Manage and mentor RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and support staff.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS and Ohio Department of Health standards.
Maintain and improve survey readiness, achieving positive survey outcomes.
Implement staff development programs to foster clinical excellence and retention.
Collaborate with the facility administrator to ensure resident-centered care, operational efficiency, and high-quality clinical outcomes.
Monitor and support care plans, quality metrics, and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Current, active Ohio RN license.
Minimum 2 years of nurse management experience in a skilled nursing facility.
Proven success with regulatory surveys and compliance.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
