Job descriptionEnsure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing regulations, including coding guidelines and documentation requirements. Stay up-to-date with changes in billing regulations and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits to identify compliance issues and implement corrective actions as needed. Develop, lead and mentor a team of billing specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the billing department. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including clinical staff, administrators, and finance teams, to resolve billing-related issues and improve communication processes. Build and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, including Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance representatives, to facilitate efficient billing processes and resolve reimbursement issues. Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare billing, with specific experience in billing for Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance claims for a physicians practice. Experience billing codes for skilled nursing visits a plus. In-depth knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing regulations, including CMS guidelines and documentation requirements. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with the ability to identify trends, analyze data, and implement process improvements. Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Billing and Coding Specialist CBCS) certification preferred. Competitive salary commensurate with experience. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Revenue Cycle Director to create a billing team and oversee all billing operations for Medicare, Medicaid, and various insurance providers for our doctors and advanced practice providers within skilled nursing facilities. The Director will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes, maximizing revenue collection, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Billing Operations Management :
- Oversee the end-to-end billing process for Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance claims submitted by doctors and advanced practice providers.
