Position is located at 9350 South Western Avenue in Oklahoma City.
Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
Associate will be on call every third week.

Summary :
SUMMARY : Under the supervision and direction of the assigned manager / supervisor, the Security Specialist 1provides physical protection and security for the bank’s personnel, property and assets. The incumbent ensures compliance with Arvest Bank policies and procedures. Additionally, the Security Specialist 1 serves as first responder to security threats and escalates to the manager / supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide physical protection and security of the bank’s personnel, property and assets.
- As directed, coordinate with local law enforcement, when law enforcement is called onto Arvest Bank property, such as for robbery, altercations or other breaches of security.
- Serve as local contact for alarm companies and local law enforcement. May be on-call person for alarm calls after hours.
- Routinely perform facility security checks including outside perimeter checks to minimize security risks and ensure all exterior lights are working properly.
- Examine all security devices and administer testing as directed by manager / supervisor.
- Ensure branch personnel are following all established security procedures, including Opening / Closing and Robbery / Bomb procedures.
- On as called basis, work with vendors on bank premises.
- Ensure all monthly and quarterly branch audits are complete and reports submitted to appropriate management staff.
- Perform periodic audits on monetary cash drawers within branches.
- Verify emergency numbers are posted and known to entire staff and emergency exit plans are posted.
- Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA / AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and / or account activity.
