Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an experienced associate to join its client's Chambers Band 1 fintech practice. The DC-based financial services team has an industry-leading practice representing payments, virtual currency and other financial technology companies, as well as banks, broker-dealers and other traditional financial sector leaders. This firm handles the most complex regulatory matters for our clients and are involved in all dimensions of product innovation, including regulatory structuring and negotiation of critical contracts. We are looking for candidates with strong academic backgrounds, and at least 3 years of relevant experience in a law firm or government. Must be a self-starter who possesses the ability to work independently and as part of the team. Strong analytical abilities, and proven research and writing skills required.

Candidates must be admitted or eligible to seek prompt admission to the District of Columbia Bar. Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate. The target salary range for this role is below. The compensation package also includes bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits program.

Target Salary Range : In Washington, DC, the estimated target salary range for this role is $260,000 - $365,000.
