This is a unique opportunity to support key leaders within the Affluent Banking team and drive impactful change. As a Business Manager, you will provide support to two Managing Directors - the General Manager of Affluent Banking and Head of Affluent Client Experience. Your role will involve promoting efficiency, delivering high-quality reporting, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Leveraging your expertise in project management, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration, you will support strategic initiatives, promote business objectives, and enhance client experience. This role offers the opportunity for a positive, culturally aligned team member with exceptionally strong organizational skills to join our dynamic team. Job responsibilities Strategic Support and Reporting :
- Support the Affluent Banking General Manager and Head of Affluent Client Experience in strategic planning and execution of key initiatives, ensuring clarity and alignment across leadership and functional teams
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Data & Analytics, Operations, Communications and other Business Managers, to deliver accurate and high-quality reporting that informs executive decision-making Project Management and Process Improvement :
- Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines
- Provide continuous feedback on project status and function as the overall escalation point to ensure projects meet original expectations
- Drive efficiency by identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to enhance operational effectiveness Analytical and Organizational Excellence :
- Utilize deep analytical skills to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all aspects of project management and reporting
- Apply quantitative and strategic approaches to problem-solving and decision-making. Collaboration and Communication :
- Act as a liaison between the Managing Directors and various teams to ensure consistency, clarity, and priority in decision-making and communications
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the firm to influence and align strategic objectives
- Communicate project updates clearly and transparently to all relevant parties, presenting to senior management and stakeholders as needed Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business management or project management role within the financial services industry
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality presentations and reports for senior leadership
- Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
- Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work with demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
