Job description

Position Summary

Join our AI & Engineering team in transforming technology platforms, driving innovation, and helping make a significant impact on our clients' success. You’ll work alongside talented professionals reimagining and re-engineering operations and processes that are critical to businesses. Your contributions can help clients improve financial performance, accelerate new digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation.

AI & Engineering leverages cutting-edge engineering capabilities to build, deploy, and operate integrated/verticalized sector solutions in software, data, AI, network, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. These solutions are powered by engineering for business advantage, transforming mission-critical operations. We enable clients to stay ahead with the latest advancements by transforming engineering teams and modernizing technology & data platforms. Our delivery models are tailored to meet each client's unique requirements.

Recruiting for this role ends on 5/29/2026

Work you’ll do

As a MDM Solutions Engineer (Banking), you will lead the technical architecture, configuration, and implementation of enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions at our Banking and FSI clients. You will operate at the intersection of technology and business—ensuring that MDM platforms are robust, scalable, and aligned with client objectives.

  • Collaborate closely with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable technical architecture, designs and data integration patterns, including non-functional needs (e.g., security, resiliency, performance etc.)
  • Drive technical delivery of complex MDM programs, overseeing design, build, validation and production deployment and hyper-care phases
  • Support hands-on configuration and deployment as needed, of industry-leading MDM solutions (e.g., Informatica, Reltio), including matching, survivorship, hierarchies, and data quality controls
  • Lead technical teams through best practices in solution design, code reviews, release management, and troubleshooting complex issues across the MDM lifecycle
  • Design and enforce data governance, security, compliance, and privacy practices, ensuring regulatory alignment and operational excellence

In addition, contribute to Deloitte’s thought leadership, play a significant role in business development activities (to include, the development and presentation of proposals), and own responsibility for the development of junior staff.

The team

Our AI & Data practice offers comprehensive solutions for designing, developing, and operating advanced Data and AI platforms, products, insights, and services. We help clients innovate, enhance, and manage their data, AI, and analytics capabilities, ensuring they can grow and scale effectively.

  • 3+ years hands-on technical implementation and support experience with leading data management platforms such as Informatica (MDM, 360, Data Catalog) and/or Reltio (Multi-domain MDM, Intelligent 360, advanced data models)
  • 3+ years experience with programming and/or scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Java)
  • 2+ years leading technical teams in large, complex MDM or enterprise data projects, with experience in solution architecture and release management
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • Advanced knowledge of data modeling, data integration (ETL/ELT), API management, and data quality tooling
  • Hands-on experience with on-premises and cloud MDM deployments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automation for MDM platforms
  • Experience with emerging data architectures—including Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Multimodal Data Management, and AI/ML integration
  • Experience supporting technical pre-sales, solution demos, and proposal development
  • Experience presenting to large/small and technical/non-technical audiences
  • Experience driving delivery in global, distributed environments
