Job description

Hospitality Attendant/ Banquet Server/ Set-Up duties and responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of a Hospitality Attendant/Banquet Server/ Set-Up are to provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire event process to ensure the highest standard of customer satisfaction as well as prepare, set ups, breaks down and cleans up breakfast service in limited-service hotels. Inventories supplies. Here are some examples of the duties and responsibilities of a Hospitality Attendant/ Banquet Server/ Set-Up:

  • Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the breakfast/banquet areas.
  • Relay food and beverage orders.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations.
  • Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person.
  • Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
  • Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.

The hourly range for this position is $12.45 - $15.45.

Hospitality Attendant/Banquet Server/ Set-Up skills and qualifications:

The Hospitality Attendant/Banquet Server/ Set-Up position will have the following prerequisite skills and qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and stay comfortable on their feet for the entire shift
  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Positive attitude and teamwork skills
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal
  • Extreme attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to follow verbal directions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
