Job descriptionIn addition, the Barback plays in essential role in the cleanliness and organization of the bar area. This role may be called upon to assist the bartender to prepare and serve alcoholic or soft drink beverages. This role is responsible for knowing all menu items and their detailed descriptions. This position also assists the Servers and Bartenders with other guest and table maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in restaurants, or establishments of similar caliber. You must be organized, motivating, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space and to reach other locations of the restaurant in a timely basis. Must be able to multi-task and manage in high volume, and high stress environments. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Your Responsibilities :
- Acts as the primary support person to the bartenders.
- This position is responsible for assisting in keeping the bar area stocked with essential items such as spirits, beer, wine,
mixers, ice, garnishes etc.
