POSITION SUMMARY : The barback assists the bartenders and other bar staff by ensuring the bar is properly stocked, frozen daiquiri machines are filled with product and clean at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Keep machines filled with product and the product in the machine hopper stirred
- Work to restock glassware / plasticware and maintain bar supplies throughout the course of the shift
- Change kegs when required
- Make trips to the storage area to keep alcohol supplies stocked throughout the course of the shift
- Pick up empty glasses, plastic cups and bottles from the bar and tables in the bar area
- Empty trash as necessary
- Wipe down bar tops and tables as necessary
- Re-stock garnishes and bar mixes
- Ensure there is enough clean glassware / plasticware for bartenders
- Re-stock ice as needed
- Maintain a clean work station and clean bar towels in each bartenders station
