Description
NO SEASONAL HIRES NEEDED
The Barista creates a memorable customer experience by providing fast, friendly, service with consistent and quality products. This role is responsible for performing all job duties in a manner consistent with current company process and procedures and maintaining all food safety and sanitation standards. The Barista position starts at $9.00 / hour. Day shift is mornings, Afternoon shift is mid-day , we are not currently hiring for Night shift workers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet and connect with each customer.
- Welcome questions and seek opportunities to educate on our products.
- Maintain speed of service standards during high volume periods by staying calm.
- Suggestively sell gift cards, complementary / additional products, and merchandise.
- Solicit order, enter sale, and process payment in a timely and friendly fashion.
- Manage cash drawer by following established cash handling proceedings.
- Serve all customer orders according to recipe and aesthetic guidelines.
- Utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush.
- Deliver products within established speed of service guidelines and identify drink upon delivery.
- Operate and maintain cleanliness of all store equipment.
- Must work one day on the weekend
- Follow all opening, midday, and closing procedures.
- Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability.
- Optimize workflow efficiency by restocking work stations, food, supplies, and merchandise.
- Demonstrate genuine appreciation to each customer.
- All other duties assigned by management.
