Role Overview

As a Labor Relations Representative, you will drive operational efficiencies through contractual agreements, support labor relations for employees and leaders, and foster a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure equitable administration of the collective agreement, including grievance handling, interpretation, and compliance.
• Facilitate effective management / union relations.
• Administer attendance programs and disciplinary assessments.
• Generate attendance reports and compile trend analysis presentations.
• Conduct EEOC and other workplace investigations.
• Coach and guide operating management on assigned shifts.
• Support implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives.

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong knowledge of contract interpretation and application.
• Experience managing compliance and investigations in a unionized environment.
• Skilled in conflict resolution and handling challenging interactions.
• Ability to analyze data and use insights for decision-making.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of HR experience with emphasis on labor relations in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with HRIS and reporting tools.
• Experience in lean manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work onsite on rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
