Job Description
Pro Skills Basketball (PSB) is a premier national youth basketball organization, and we are looking for coaches to lead our 5th & 6th grade boys club teams in Chicago, IL in 2025!
PSB coaches are high-character individuals with a passion for mentoring, leading, and educating children through the game of basketball. They foster transformational relationships with players and parents and provide a youth basketball experience that families can look back on fondly.
This is a paid part-time position with on-court hours performed via evening practices twice per week (Monday & Wednesday evenings) and tournament games on weekends (8 tournaments total from the months of April through July). More hours are also available if you are willing and able to coach more than one team, and / or work other PSB workouts, clinics, and camps.

PSB is a member of the Junior NBA Flagship network, which means the NBA has designated us as one of the "18 best-in-class youth basketball organizations that share the Junior NBA's vision for how the game should be taught and played at the grassroots level and have committed to pursuing the highest standard of operation in the industry. This includes adhering to NBA and USA Basketball Youth Basketball Guidelines, implementing coach licensing requirements, providing resources to educate coaches and parents, and a continued commitment to improving the overall youth basketball experience." More About the Position : Chicago Coaches report directly to the Chicago Director. For our best coaches, there is potential for growth and promotion both inside and outside of PSB.
