Pool Monitor – Menifee, CA
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Schedule: Monday–Sunday | 12:30 PM – 9:15 PM (8-hour shifts)
Flexible work days based on pool location assignment
We are currently hiring Pool Monitors in Menifee, CA. This is an easy-going, entry-level position responsible for overseeing pool areas within a residential HOA community setting. This role is not a lifeguard or security position and requires no prior experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor resident and guest behavior to ensure compliance with pool rules and HOA guidelines
- Politely inform residents and guests of any rule violations
- Ensure residents are not exceeding guest limits
- Verify member access cards for entry
- Maintain a safe and orderly pool environment at all times
- Complete accident/incident reports when necessary
- Arrange and maintain pool furniture throughout the shift
- Ensure proper check-out and use of paddle boats (if applicable)
- Perform light janitorial duties including:
- Emptying trash cans
- Restocking restrooms
- General upkeep of pool area cleanliness
Important Notes
- This is NOT a lifeguard position – no lifeguard duties required
- This is NOT a security guard role – no security experience required
- Position focuses on customer service, rule enforcement, and basic maintenance
- Easy-going work environment
Requirements
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to enforce rules in a professional and friendly manner
- Must be able to work flexible days (Monday–Sunday)
