Pay Scale :

The Representative Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $17.75. The position may also pay commission compensation based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance ranging from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.

Sales Benefits

Responsibilities

Greet customers listen to their concerns and explain repair options in a clear and understandable manner.

Appointment Scheduling :

Schedule service appointments coordinate with technicians and manage the flow of vehicles through the service bay.

Problem Identification and Diagnosis :

Assist in identifying vehicle issues through customer descriptions visual inspections and potentially test drives clarifying issues for technicians.

Work Order Preparation :

Prepare detailed repair orders including time and cost estimates and document customer concerns for technicians.

Customer Communication :

Provide updates on repair progress explain charges clearly and address customer inquiries or concerns.

Upselling and Sales :

Recommend additional services or products when appropriate contributing to overall sales and revenue.

Customer Satisfaction :

Ensure customer satisfaction with the service provided handling complaints and seeking resolutions.

Record Keeping :

Maintain accurate customer records and enter data into computer databases.

Teamwork :

Collaborate with technicians and other service personnel to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Skills and Qualifications :

Excellent Communication :

Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Customer Service :

Excellent customer service skills including the ability to handle customer complaints and maintain a positive attitude.

Problem-Solving :

Ability to identify and resolve customer issues and to communicate effectively with technicians.

Sales Skills :

Strong sales skills including the ability to up-sell additional services and products.

Organizational Skills :

Ability to manage multiple tasks schedule appointments and keep records organized.

Basic Knowledge of Automotive Technology :

Understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.

Computer Skills :

Proficiency with computer systems and software including scheduling repair order management and record-keeping.
