Job description

As the operator of a federally funded research and development center (FFRDC), we are broadly engaged across all aspects of space- delivering innovative solutions that span satellite, launch, ground, and cyber systems for defense, civil and commercial customers. The Enterprise Effects Division (EED) drives integration of Aerospace's strategic capabilities across the national space enterprise. The division leverages a broad array of engineering disciplines against a diverse and dynamic portfolio of programs, customers, and national challenges. EED spans the capability lifecycle from concept and architecture design to performance assessment to application of space and space-enabled capabilities.

The Enterprise Integration Solutions Office guide s the solution of cross-agency, multi-mission capability orchestration problems by building and leveraging integration expertise throughout the corporation . We build agile project t eams who collaborate across disciplines, customers, international partners, and industry in support of national outcomes .

Aerospace will need to build coalitions across the enterprise in order to fulfill its nationally chartered mission of solving the hardest problems for the nation's space enterprise. We are seeking an Industry Partnerships Liaison ( Project Leader - Technical Project Management ) to lead our efforts to foster the growth of successful strategic partnerships across industry. The Industry Partnerships Liaison will be responsible for developing and maintaining the partnerships between Aerospace and others that will underpin those coalitions to drive successful enterprise integration outcomes in the national interest.

Work Model :

This full-time position supports a hybrid work model with onsite presence in Crystal City, VA , Chantilly, VA , Colorado Springs , CO, or El Segundo CA .

What You'll Be Doing

Identify meaningful collaboration opportunities to enable the advancement of national enterprise integration imperatives

Foster and maintain strategic relationships with potential industry partners and stakeholders

Work with leadership and general counsel to define and negotiate formal partnership terms with prospective partners

Represent Aerospace core competencies and foster tight connections and trust across internal and external technical teams

Coordinate and execute meetings, technical exchanges, and forums with industry on behalf of Aerospace with the goal of connecting the enterprise in the national interest

Manage and coordinate our communications with partners to ensure consistent and equitable messaging to all parties

Maintain a directory of external connections for projects and contact with counterparts to support their future use

Mentor and coach team members in how to successfully engage in productive partnerships with external organizations

Frequent travel to support project efforts

What You Need to be a Successful Industry Partnerships Liaison

Active Top Secret Clearance

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 7 or more years of relevant professional experience

Experience with establishing and coordinating high-impact teams across multiple organizations

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to change, triage and prioritize competing priorities, and demonstrate initiative under pressure

Experience leading trade associations and managing relationships with senior executives throughout the space industry

Experience with a wide range of contract mechanisms to enable strategic partnerships throughout an organization

Ability to manage the coordination and execution of a robust meeting, technical exchange, or event

Highly skilled public speaker with the ability to articulate a complex mission to a wide-ranging audience

Active SAP Clearance

Fluency in multiple languages

Experience leading successful industry engagement activities and commercialization efforts

Master's degree and 9 or more years of relevant professional experience, including experience in developing productive strategic partnerships across industry and government

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
