Job descriptionServes as the in-store educator for skincare & cosmetics. Attends product knowledge in person and virtual trainings, shares take-aways and checks for understanding. Receives in-store education material, distributes to team members, speaks to product knowledge and checks for understanding. Works with newly hired associates to become comfortable with skincare and cosmetics along with supporting their onboarding with product knowledge. Executes makeup and skincare merchandising, planograms, and operational functions to company standards. Assists in the flow of merchandise from stock areas to the selling floor. Responsible for the cleanliness of testers and tester needs, cleanliness of all fixtures in the makeup and skincare areas. Executes all merchandise presentation directives and standards. Assists with price changes, transfers and other paperwork as directed by Supervisor. Retail or service sales experience required; prefer makeup / beauty sales experience. Excellent customer service, communication, and organization skills. Must have interest in the makeup and skincare categories. Training aspects of makeup and skincare a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and utilize good judgment. Ability to build and maintain relationships. Present a professional appearance and maintain Beauty Brands grooming standards and dress code. Ability to work nights and weekends.

Beauty Brands is seeking a high-energy Beauty Specialist who is passionate about the beauty industry and customer service to join our team!
Duties & Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- Responsible for engaging and assisting customers, both within the makeup and skincare departments and throughout the retail floor.
- Ensure highest level of customer service resulting in increased productivity and achieving sales goals.
- Must be comfortable applying makeup, and touching skin.
- Serves as the makeup and skincare expert regarding department specifics, services, merchandise, and procedures.
- Inquires about the customer’s interest and motivates the customer’s interest by offering a product demonstration while describing the benefits and results to the customer
- Discovers the customer’s needs and suggest products that meet those needs based on their expertise and training.
