About the Role
UpReach Learning is seeking a dedicated and motivated Middle School ELA Interventionist to provide targeted academic support for students. This role is ideal for an educator with a strong ELA background who is passionate about helping students strengthen literacy skills, build confidence, and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities
Provide small-group and / or one-on-one ELA interventions tailored to middle school students.
Support students in addressing skill gaps aligned to STAAR standards.
Monitor student progress and share updates with teachers and administrators.
Adapt instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Create and maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment.
Qualifications
Strong background in ELA (required).
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (preferred) in teaching, tutoring, or intervention.
Familiarity with STAAR standards and strategies for improving reading / writing skills.
Effective classroom management and communication skills.
Passion for working with students and improving academic outcomes.
Schedule & Compensation
Part-Time : MUST be Available M-THU 8 : 30AM-4 : 00PM
