Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver ABA services under the guidance of a Supervisor/BCBA.
- Gather and maintain data on client progress during session activities as outlined in treatment plans.
- Provide support in homes, schools, clinics, and community settings to individuals with autism or similar conditions.
- Employ positive behavior support strategies developed by supervisors and BCBAs to effectively address challenges.
- Assist in training caregivers as necessary.
- Arrive on time for scheduled sessions and ensure session goals are met as planned.
- Submit timecards and clinical notes promptly per company policies.
- Work closely with supervisors and BCBAs to enhance client outcomes.
- Adhere to ethical standards in ABA service delivery and comply with all company regulations.
- Mentor new hires through training and observational opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required; college coursework is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months working directly with individuals with disabilities (preferred but not required).
- Availability: Must be available for at least 15 hours/week during afternoons and evenings, typically scheduled between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Transportation: A valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance are required (travel time compensation is provided).
- Additional Criteria: Must successfully pass a background check, TB tests, and a pre-employment physical. Documentation of immunity to MMR and Varicella is required during onboarding.
