Description
21.00 - $26.00 per hour
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavior Specialist to join our team and support the success of all students at our preschool. This role is dedicated to working hands-on with students, teachers, and families to address behavioral challenges and ensure that every child thrives in our learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education or behavior management, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for empowering students and educators alike.
Key Responsibilities :
- Student Support
Work directly with students exhibiting behavioral challenges, including those with special needs, to implement individualized strategies and interventions.
Partner with teachers to observe classroom dynamics and provide feedback on strategies for managing challenging behaviors.
Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and provide guidance on extending behavior strategies to the home environment.
Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide behavior management policies and practices.
Ensure all strategies and interventions align with best practices and any applicable regulations for working with students with special needs.
