Job description
A company is looking for a Supervisor, Behavioral Health Utilization Management.
Key Responsibilities
Supervises behavioral health utilization review clinicians to ensure compliance with guidelines and performance standards
Resolves complex behavioral health care member issues and identifies opportunities for process improvements
Evaluates team performance, provides coaching, and assists with onboarding and training of team members
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related experience
Professional Behavioral Health Licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, LMHP, RN, or BCBA) required
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge of behavioral health utilization management principles preferred
Understanding of medical necessity criteria for a broad range of behavioral health services preferred
