A company is looking for a Coding and Compliance Auditor-Behavioral Health.

Key Responsibilities :

Conducts operational and financial audits of provider claims to identify overpayments and resolve root cause issues

Adjusts claim payments and adjudicates claims according to established recovery guidelines

Identifies potential recovery projects and reports findings to management

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience

5+ years of experience in Behavioral Health claims processing or health insurance, including 3 years in medical billing and coding

CPC or CCS certification preferred

Claim audit experience, preferably in Behavioral Health

Intermediate to expert knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD9, and HCPCS coding
