Job descriptionDevelop and maintain a schedule to ensure compliance with all required meetings and services. Master's Degree in Counseling Has obtained School Counselor License - issued by the Experience or specialized training in the field of pediatric mental health is preferred. Ability to work independently and maintain ethical and accountability standards. Demonstrates interpersonal skills, and communicates effectively and courteously both verbally and in writing. Has the ability to coordinate activities and work effectively with professional staff, support staff, parents, and representatives from agencies outside the school system.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Individual or group counseling
Behavior intervention and skill-building
Crisis intervention and emotional regulation
Support students with anxiety, trauma, behavior challenges
Collaborate with school staff and families
Adhere to federal / state / local procedures for record keeping, eligibility documentation, timelines and procedural safeguards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Michigan Department of Education for working in K-12 settings with academic / social-emotional focus.
