We're growing quickly and looking for a detail-driven Payroll & Benefits Compliance Specialist to join our team. If you love ensuring things balance perfectly, spotting trends others miss, and keeping systems running clean, this role was built for you.
The Opportunity
You'll be the bridge between payroll, benefits, and accounting - maintaining compliance and accuracy across multiple systems and processes.
This is not a data-entry role. It's a specialized position for someone who enjoys reconciling, auditing, and connecting the dots between isolved, carriers, and compliance requirements.
What You'll Do
Perform monthly benefit reconciliations by comparing carrier invoices to isolved deduction and enrollment data.
Resolve discrepancies and coordinate adjustments with Benefits and Accounting teams.
Manage 401(k) uploads, audits, and reconciliations, ensuring contribution accuracy and timely file transmission.
Administer Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) reporting and private plan submissions.
Support workers' compensation audits and premium reconciliation.
Maintain PayKonnect integrations between isolved and carriers, monitoring data accuracy and reporting issues.
Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate setup of FSA, HSA, LSA, and COBRA plans.
Maintain compliance records, monthly audits, and documentation to support accuracy across payroll and benefits.
Monitor legislative and regulatory changes impacting payroll and benefits processes.
Support process improvement projects to strengthen system accuracy and compliance controls.
What You'll Bring
3+ years of payroll, benefits, or HR compliance experience (HRO / PEO background a plus).
Strong Excel and data-reconciliation skills.
Experience with isolved, PayKonnect, or similar HRIS systems.
Familiarity with 401(k), PFML, FSA / HSA, and benefits compliance.
Sharp attention to detail and natural curiosity for finding and fixing discrepancies.
