Job Title : Laboratory Billing Manager

Department : Billing

Reports to : Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Salary : $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually

Shift : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Job Summary

The Laboratory Billing Manager serves as a key member of the executive management team, directly reporting to the COO. This role oversees all aspects of the laboratory's billing and coding processes, ensuring timely and accurate claim submissions, regulatory compliance, and optimal revenue cycle management. The Manager collaborates with internal departments, external vendors, payers, providers, and patients to advance revenue optimization while maintaining the highest levels of compliance and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Revenue Management

• Oversee the laboratory's coding and billing functions to ensure accurate and timely claim submissions.
• Manage the resolution of denied claims, working closely with payers to address discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, provider contracts, and internal policies.
• Support optimal revenue management practices while adhering to all legal and contractual obligations.

Work Environment

This position operates in an office setting, with a Monday-Friday schedule. The role involves balancing routine duties with urgent matters and strategic initiatives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
