Taft is seeking a Billing Specialist to support our team in our Denver or Phoenix office. We are looking for a candidate with at least one year of experience to join our Accounting Department. All Taft employees operate under a Client First philosophy providing exceptional services to our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate and edit client pre-bills (BIMs).
- Ensure the accuracy and timely distribution of final bills.
- Process write-offs / write-downs and obtain proper approval when required.
- Maintain the integrity of the billing system information.
- Respond to attorney requests and questions regarding bills and billing process.
- Adhere to billing cycle / cut-off dates.
- Ensure compliance with billing policies and procedures.
- Work independently, organize, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Analyze client billing histories and perform basic financial analysis as needed.
Requirements

The salary range is $26.44 / hour - $38.46 / hour, with actual offers based on experience, education, and skills.
