Position Summary : Responsible for all supervisor functions related to customer service and the collection of patient account balances, including performance management.# Primary Job Responsibilities : Supervise all functions within the customer service unit. Report daily, weekly and monthly key indicator reports, measuring internal and external performance. Represent the unit, Patient Billing Services at patient grievance meetings and other senior management meetings, as directed and executes patient grievance committee decisions. Minimal Qualifications for the Role : Associates Degree (or at least 60 college credits) and 7-10 years of Hospital, billing and reimbursement experience in Hospital Inpatient / Outpatient billing / collections or related claims and customer service management experience in a health insurance environment.
